On-going activities all year:
Fundraising and volunteer services we are currently providing to Massey:
In the past, we have raised money and awareness for the following:
Blood Shuttles and One Match Event:
We work with Canadian Blood Services as a “Partners for Life” school. We host a "One Match Event" where students learn about registering to be a stem cell donor. We also provide three or four blood donation shuttles each year.
Winnipeg Harvest Food Drive
Key Club’s annual Winnipeg Harvest Food Drive raised over 40 boxes of food (a large van full of food!)
Project Eliminate
For the past three years Key Club has actively participated in Project Eliminate. The goal of Project Eliminate is to completely eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus which steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. For ever $1.80 a vaccine can be given to a mother and her future babies.
Teddy Bear Picnic:
Our club volunteers our services each year in May at the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, an annual fundraising event for the Children’s Hospital.
